The successful prevention, detection and intervention in elder abuse cases relies, in part, on the training of professionals and the public. The NCEA encourages all those working with older Americans to receive training on elder abuse, neglect and financial exploitation.

In the Training section of the NCEA website, we’ve created and compiled materials for trainers. These include:

  • Links to Videos and webcasts likely to be helpful for trainers to use
  • Links to high-quality Curricula for various audiences
  • A Calendar of upcoming Trainings and Conferences related to abuse, neglect and exploitation of vulnerable adults and related topics
  • Key points related to adult learning techniques for both professional and general audiences
